Congratulations on the 1Password 7 release.

I am having some difficulty with the new app and the Safari extension. If I invoke the extension, I am prompted to select a username and password from my 1Password vault, but the credentials do not get filled in on the web page. I have tried this on several sites including bitbucket.org, itunesconnect.apple.com, and twitter.com.

Also, I am currently syncing with Dropbox but I am considering switching to 1Password.com. In the past I found that the 1Password app does not make local backups of 1Password.com-sync'd vaults. Is that still the case?

    @johnsbrayton,

    It sounds like you possibly don't have a license for 1Password 7 yet, which would definitely explain the filling problem. 1Password 7 needs either a license or a 1Password.com membership to be unlocked.

    I'm not ignoring your second question, but I just can't answer it yet.
