Sync across 1password7 and iphone is not working

in Mac

use case
i create secure note on 1password7
then i create secure note on 1password ios

both the latest versions

macbook pro 2017 latest os x
iphone 7 latest ios

sync type dropbox

expected
the notes should sync across all the versions of 1password

actual result
the sync is not happening

comments
before i upgraded to PAID version i did not have such a problems
why did i upgrade :( facepalm

yeah you can blame the most expensive macbook or dropbox or iphone
still really disappointing

    im an idiot i was synced to icloud on iphone
