When clicking on the 1P icon to fill, the screen just blanks and nothing happens.

Hi @mattido! Could you try restarting your computer to see if that makes a difference? If not, are you using 1Password 7 with an account or a license? And if you're using it with a license, did you purchase one yet?
Restarting Chrome did seem to do the trick.
