1password extension in firefox disappeared

I'm running firefox 60.0.1 on a macbook pro (10.13.4) and 1password 7.0.1. A few days ago, before I updated 1password to 7, I lost the 1password addon in firefox- it was no longer visible in the toolbar, although I could still see it in the list of available addons and it was enabled. I deleted and reinstalled it, quit and restarted firefox and my computer, but I can't seem to get it to reappear. Any ideas what I might try next?

1Password Version: 7.0.1
Extension Version: 4.7.1.90
OS Version: 10.13.4
Sync Type: dropbox?

    Hi @kgustin,

Can you test something for me please.

    1. In Firefox remove the 1Password extension.
    2. Restart Firefox.
    3. Install a fresh copy of our extension from Browsers - 1Password.

Does the icon still not appear in the Firefox toolbar? If it doesn't it might be worth refreshing your Firefox profile which Mozilla's support page Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings can help with. It will mean downloading and installing any extensions you have again but if something weird is happening in your profile that should be the blunt tool that stops it from misbehaving.
