Ran the installer on 2 different computers. Macbook Air, and MacMini.
Previously had the latest version of 6.

In both cases the installer removed 1Password6, but did not install a new version. I had to go to the website and get an installer.

Additionally on both machines. In the preferences, Advanced.
The first time I check the box for "automatically sign in . . ." close the prefs.
Open the prefs again, the box is unchecked. The second time I check the box I get the dialog about needing to install the script.

I had the same problem with the mac upgrade installer. It looked like 1pass 7 was installed, but it hung on start, no icon in dock. Also dowloaded installer from website. Would not install as it saw a 1pass process running, Had to go to activity monitor and kill the 1pass process before I could install. Have not tried preferences yet.

@jimlongo, @kswisher: I'm sorry to hear that. Where did yo install it from? I know that App Translocation can cause issues like that.
