1Password7: Backup failed

Since updating to 1Password7, I keep getting pop-up notifications under macOS 10.13.4:

"Backup Failed 1Password failed to create a backup... Error Domain=com.agilebits.onepassw..."

I see that 1Password7 is no longer saving local backups to my previously selected location on the Mac's hard drive, where it had been saving them until yesterday. Rather, it seems to be trying to backup online, which is NOT what I want.

I do have a 1Password Family account, but that is NOT what I have been using or want to use!

What's going on? How can it be fixed?

I'm not finding a preference setting to backup locally instead of online.

    P.S. In Preferences > Advanced, I do have the option "Allow creation of vaults outside of 1Password accounts" checked. (I did not change that preference setting.)
