Is it worth storing one-time backup codes for 2FA in 1Password?
If 1Password is already storing the TOTP for an account, is it worth also storing the one-time backup codes provided for that account in 1Password? The one-time backup codes are only used as an alternative to when you don't have access to the TOTP code, correct? So as long as I have access to 1Password containing the TOTP, the backup codes serve me no purpose there, correct? (Excluding some contrived cases, such as the device 1Password is on having the wrong time seeding the TOTP, or something.) Or is there something I'm missing? Thank you!

Hi @shianiawhite,
(Excluding some contrived cases, such as the device 1Password is on having the wrong time seeding the TOTP, or something.)
That’s actually a good argument for saving the backup codes. There are probably other scenarios that I can’t even foresee, so I save them in 1Password. Doesn’t hurt. There’s not really a downside, so why not?
