Am in a Purgatory of sorts. Purchased a membership, connection dropped, can't log in

Okay, I downloaded the 1Password 7 app from the Mac App store. I opened up the app and did the process of signing up for a 1 year membership and trial. I entered my Apple ID and password. At this point, my Mac's connection dropped and was unable to progress further in the signup/onboarding process from there using the Mac 1Password 7 app. However, the information must have gotten through because I received the "Verify 1Password Account" email in my inbox. I clicked the link in the email to verify my account and received the "Your account is ready to go" confirmation email containing my sign-in address and my email address and the advice to print out my Emergency Kit.

However since the connection on Mac dropped, when I shut down and restart the app, I'm back at the beginning where it asks me to sign up for a membership. When I do using my Apple ID, it says that I already have an account with that email address.

Now, basically I'm locked out of my 1Password account because I never laid eyes on my Secret Key, which is needed to log in from other apps (I have 1Password on my iPhone) or using the my.1Password.com website.

How can I proceed from here considering I have an active account/membership and would like to use the email address I already have registered?

Help me 1Password Kenobis, you're my only hope.

Rafael

Incidentally, I can't recall what I clicked or pressed on, but I did something that generated an email that contains my 1Password account info (my email address, sign-in address, last access, and the beginning of my Secret Key). Still don't know how to access my account without 1Password support assistance though.

Just realized I might be able to do this if I'm not 100% attached to that email address. I signed up for a free trial via the Mac App Store/iTunes. I'll just go ahead and cancel the free trial and membership. I'll just get a membership direct from AgileBits/1Password and use the non-App Store downloadable app instead. Wish me luck and let's see if this works.

    Hi there @manilaraf

When things like this happen, the only way to really fix it and go forward is to delete your account and start fresh. We can help you with that however it can't be done here as this is a public forum and we will be dealing with private information. What I would like you to do is send an email to support@1password.com with your forum name and the link to this thread. You will get a response from BitBot with your Support ID. If you can then post that ID here we will be right with you.

@Corey_C Is it possible to just delete that account? I actually was successful in creating and setting up another account using a different email address. It's up and running and the setup deleted the previous version of 1PW and since it's running well I'll just use this new account with the other email address.

@Corey_C Also, I was able to cancel the free trial/1 year sub on my iTunes account so there won't be a doubling of charges when it comes time to pay. Thank heavens for the free trial setup you guys have. =)

@manilaraf Yes, but we will deal with that over email. Let's take further conversation there.
