Upgrade to trial 7 not working

I upgraded fro 6 to 7.03, but on the main app there is absolutely no data showing, and eventually I get a spinning rainbow wheel and things stop there. The Chrome browser mini app/extension doesn't work at all.

    Welcome to the forum, @tudora! That's certainly not expected (or good!) behavior. :( Can I ask what specific steps you took to go through the upgrade process? Did you download from us or from the Mac App Store? Can you describe the steps you took in a little greater detail so we have a better chance of assisting? Thanks in advance.
