Can only read now, but should be able to do all with my account--works fine on my other macbook and my iphones and ipads

    Hi there @Angelma36

Did you recently upgrade to 1Password 7? That might have something to do with it. Do you have a 1Password membership or have you been using it with a license up until now?

1Password 7 requires either a membership or a new license. It is not a free upgrade. If you’ve upgraded to 1Password 7 but haven’t yet purchased a new license (or membership) that would explain it.

You can read more about 1Password 7 for Mac here:

    I hope that helps!

P.S. We use the term ‘account’ to refer to an individual within a 1Password membership. When using a license you do not have an account.

Yes, say thanks to AgileBits who provided free upgrades from 4 to 5 and 5 to 6 when most companies would have charged!! Charging for version 7 seems only fair, we have been spoiled by not being charged before.

@danco: Indeed, I've also paid for every version of 1Password that there's been a charge for, so I didn't mind the free upgrades either. ;) Not sustainable indefinitely, but a nice surprise when you're not expecting it. :chuffed:
