do I need all of the legacy files on my mac related to 1Password4 since I use 1Password6.app ?
Clearing out old files so I can transfer to new MacBook. Do I need all of the old legacy 1Password4 files... helper, plist, etc? Or are those evidence of extensions that are needed to visit websites from inside the 1P app? I don't see any plists for 1Password 6. I use 1Password6.app on my mac.

Actually, those files and directories are your 1Password 6 files. 1Password 6 was a continuous build on top of 1Password 5 and 4 before it so a lot of the directories and naming conventions, especially those related to standalone vaults, retained the 1Password 4 naming convention. Those are the files currently used by your 1Password app right now.
