I've had 1Password since 2013 before 'memberships or secret keys' were issued. In fact, tonight is the first I've even heard of 1Password Memberships. So I've been received free upgrades ever since I first downloaded/purchased 1Password, and tonight I downloaded the new 7 version but now it won't let me log into my account.
I don't want to buy a membership, it's a monthly expense I can well do without, and I don't see why I should have to purchase a membership when I purchased the program originally and I've been receiving upgrades ever since.
IF, there was going to be an issue logging in without a membership, I feel this should have been highlighted to me before I downloaded the software. As I would not have downloaded it, I would have continued to use it as it was. Now I can't access any of my passwords and I've livid that I've been locked out in this way. This is my information and I have a right to access it, even if it's just so I can print it out for using manually.

Hi @Htg63
The information I posted here may prove helpful:

Additionally if you’d prefer to revert to 1Password 6 for Mac you can do that. Just quit 1Password, move it to the trash, empty the trash, and download a fresh copy of 1Password 6:

I hope that helps!

Well said Htg63
Even worse is the lack of transparency for pricing of a Licence. Seems Old and loyal adopters no longer deserve loyalty or transparency!

If you have questions you feel haven’t been answered please feel free to ask them. I can’t be transparent if I don’t know what information you’re looking for. :)
