Trying to install 1Password 7. Every time I install a new ver of 1Password I have problems!!
My problems are not "your" problems, but rather "my" problems! I'm an 80-year old and trying to keep up with technology seems to only get harder!! I'm not sure what the "sign-in address" is and I don't know where to find my "Secret Key". I and using 1Password version 6.8.8 on a MacPro, a MacAir, and IPad and two iPhones (an iPhone 10 and an iPhone 6 Plus). Our Macs use Mac OS High Sierra Ver 10.13.4 and our phones use Ver 11.4. We have been using 1Password since ver 3 and I can honestly say that 1Password is the most used and most useful program we have. I hope I have given you enough info so that you can help me.
Thank you in advance !!
Ray

@rayuss: Thanks for reaching out. And hey, when it comes to 1Password, your problems are our problems, are we're happy to help in any way we can!
It sounds like you may be trying to login with a 1Password Account, but you will only have one if you've signed up for a 1Password.com membership. That’s the only way you’ll have a Secret Key or Sign In URL, or be able to access your data through 1Password.com. Instead, you can use 1Password without an account and sync your data from another device or create a new vault.
However, you may want to consider a 1Password.com membership, since it gives you access to all of the apps, the web interface, and does away with license management and sync configuration altogether — you simply login to your account to authorize a device and access your data. You can try it for free for 30 days to take advantage of all of its benefits.
Either way, let me know if you have any questions and we'll go from there. :)

Thank you so much for the quick reply!! How much is it after the 30-day trial. Not sure if I really need this....but maybe. If I decide to to use 1Password without an account, how do I proceed to get ver 7 and get past this quagmire that I appear to be in??

Up to today, I am using 1Password 6.8.9 on my iMac (ver 10.13.5), but today I updated my 1Password to ver 7, now I have problem to use, I don't know how to sign-in, I don't know my sign-in address and I don't have the "Secret-Key"
Luckily, I still can use 1 Password on my iPad Pro and my iPhone X, they are both working fine.....
Pls kindly help to solve this problem ......

I'm not sure if it was you I replied to in another thread.
Anyway, Trash 1PW 7 (DO NOT use an app cleaner, as that can destroy data), empty the trash. You should have a zipped version of 1PW6, and just unzip it and you are back.

@rayuss: You can find license pricing for each app in the announcements detailing what's new in them:

You can find pricing for subscriptions here:

And be sure to let us know if you have any questions about either. :)

@lpwlpw39833983: Thanks for getting in touch! Sorry for the confusion there.
But a 1Password.com membership includes all of the apps, and you just need to login to your account to access your data on each device. You can try it for free for 30 days to get those and other features, and we're here if you have any questions. :)
