I want to reinstall 1Password6.

Hi.
I have been a 1PW user since almost the beginning. I have no problem paying your monthly membership.

I installed 1PW7 and found out that I cannot get thru your "welcome to 1PW" account details. I have my email address, I think the correct secret key (you sent me the first few characters beginning with A3 and they match what I got), and the password I use to get into my everyday 1PW. However, I do not have my "sign-in address____.1password.com". When I enter the first three items, I get "Cannot sign in. Your email address, Secret Key, or Master Password is incorrect."

So, having spent more time than I really have trying to get signed in, what I would like to do now, is delete 1PW7 and reload 1PW6. Please advise where I may download and reinstall 1PW6.

PS As a suggestion, it might be better to ask people to sign into their account, to make sure they can, before deleting their current version then being left with no access to all of their confidential information. This has really been a huge inconvenience, especially since you do not have telephone support and I have been unable to access my passwords.

    I’m sorry to hear you ran into some trouble upgrading. If you have your Emergency Kit handy or have 1Password logged in on any other devices you can see what your sign-in address is there. If you are using an individual membership your sign-in address is my.1passsword.com but it’ll be custom for any other account type. If you had 1Password 6 set up with your account 1Password 7 should have picked that up and continued right where you left off. If that didn’t happpen, then something wonky happened.

    That said, I’ll answer your question about reverting to v6, in case the above does not help:

    Quit 1Password 7, drag it to the trash, empty the trash, and then download a fresh copy of 1Password 6. https://app-updates.agilebits.com/product_history/OPM4

    Thanks for the help. After 24 hours of being "1Password'less", I am back to normal with 1PW6

    I have the same problem as the OP, but ran into a problem
    with Ben's instructions, so here's what I had to do:

    I couldn't drag 1PW7 to the trash because "it was running".
    Couldn't "Force Quit" it because it was invisible.
    Rebooted, it was still "running", but invisibly.
    I had to Kill it using the Activity Monitor.
    Rebooted, and now 1PW6 is running and seems to work.
    Now how do I reinstall the 1PW6 chrome extension?

    I resent the fact that I had to install 1PW7 in order to find
    out how much my standalone license update would cost.
    (Over 60 dollars)!
    I felt it was too much, then I had to work hard to get
    back to where I started,.
    I wish your pricing had been open and transparent
    instead of requiring installation, deinstallation, and back-reinstallation.

    PS: I forgot to say I figured out how to reinstall the 1PW6 extension.
