I have standalone 1 Password on my Windows computer on my Mac and on my iPhone and iPad.

Once I install and subscribe to 1 Password, can I delete Dropbox sync?

Just move your data from the Primary vault to the Personal vault, and make sure that new data is saved in the Personal vault. Data in the Personal vault is then synced automatically. Only the Primary vault, which you will have emptied, uses Dropbox, so there is no actual need to delete Dropbox sync.

  • Hey @michael_p_meyer, as @danco says, once you've moved your passwords from your Primary vault to your Personal vault, you won't need to use Dropbox sync anymore. Another thing you might want to do at that point is head into 1Password > Preferences > Advanced and disable the option to "Allow creation of vaults outside of 1Password accounts". That'll get rid of your old Primary vault and also hide the Sync tab in preferences, as it won't be necessary with a 1Password membership.
