Ok I saw a lot of problems with the version 7 so my question if we want stay at version 6 standalone I can purchase the pro features in iOS and get for Android too or I need make a double purchase?

I don't like the subscription model but pay $20 for can change or create the passwords is a steal!! In any version, inclusive I have the version for Mac and can do it. So for multiplataform users there is any deal?

  • Hey @karlegas! I'm sorry to hear 1Password 7 hasn't been a good experience so far. What's been the trouble? The Pro Features are per platform, so it's easiest to use 1Password with a membership instead. That includes all the 1Password apps so you can use it on your computer as well as your phone, tablet, or even a browser, automatic sync between all the devices you end up adding, versions of your items that are backed up automatically so you can restore one if you make a change by mistake, and much more:

What are the benefits of a 1Password membership?

    Hope that helps!

Thanks for the answer Jacob, in the case I go to the membership what happen with my vault I must move to your servers? If I don't renewal the next year I can export my passwords or my account will be frozen and cannot do that?

Hi @karlegas, when you switch to a 1Password account you'll have to migrate your vault to our servers (our apps make it simple and fast—full instructions right here). Syncing will be more seamless and trouble-free, and it's just as secure as you'd expect from 1Password (more on the security here)!

In case you cancel your subscription, your account will become frozen at the end of the time you've paid for. Your vault will be read-only and you'll of course still have the option to export your passwords anywhere you'd like.

Let us know if you have any other questions we can answer. :)
