Having problem to setup 1Password ver 7 on my iMac
Up to today, I am using 1Password 6.8.9 on my iMac (ver 10.13.5), but today I updated my 1Password to ver 7, now I have problem to use, I don't know how to sign-in, I don't know my sign-in address and I don't have the "Secret-Key"
Luckily, I still can use 1 Password on my iPad Pro and my iPhone X, they are both working fine.....
Pls kindly help to solve this problem ......

Sign-in address and Secret Key are part of the new subscription model. If you are on the old licence, you don't have them.
If you bought 1PW 7 from the App Store, it will be subscription only, but the version direct from AgileBits can be bought both by sub and by (fairly expensive) licence.
While there are good reasons to change to a subscription, see https://support.1password.com/why-membership/ , it may be best to revert to 1PW6 and take a while to decide what is best for you.
Trash 1PW 7 (DO NOT use an app cleaner, as that can destroy data), empty the trash. You should have a zipped version of 1PW6, and just unzip it and you are back.

I have the same problem.
I can't find a older version on my Mac, but I can lock in on my iPhone, but there is no were I can "Scan your Setup code".
And when I send my email to AgileBits, it returns that the don't know my email.

it sounds like you don't have a 1Password.com account. You can install the older version 6 by downloading it here: https://1password.com/downloads/ (Click on "Using OS X El Capitan or earlier?" to see the download link)

can't find key either, log in on other devices and same loop-so are you saying DO NOT download and use 7?

Since you made a one-time purchase of 1Password, you didn't get an account. 1Password accounts are part of subscriptions, which have automatic sync between your devices, access to 1Password anywhere, and an account to access everything. You can create one to get the benefits accounts include, or you can keep using 1Password as you always have.
What are the benefits of a 1Password membership?
The license you have now is only for 1Password 6. To use 1Password 7, you need to purchase a license for that version. You can also use a 1Password membership if you'd like. If you go with a license, you can purchase one after importing your existing vault to 1Password 7, which you should have the option to do when you open the app the first time.
