Is there a way to identify and merge duplicates in a vault?

We now have a shared vault between my wife and I that we intended to use at the "bucket" from which we will sort out and organize into all the new family vaults... BUT when we both deposited our data into this new shared vault we now have duplicates of every item moved over. Is there a way to merge duplicate entries in any given vault or are we stuck going through 2500 items...

  • Hey @GDadof3, I'm sorry to hear about the trouble with duplicates! If you're using 1Password 7 for Mac, I'm happy to say there is a way to clean up your duplicate items!

    1. Open 1Password 7 for Mac
    2. Click the vault name in the top left corner and select the vault that contains all the duplicates. This won't work if you have "All Vaults" selected.
    3. Click Help > Tools > Clean Up Duplicate Items.

Let us know how that goes!
