Opening attached documents in 1Password 7: is there an easier way?

To open an attached document within a login item, in 1Password 6 one either double-clicked on the attachment to open the doc, or used spacebar for QuickLook. In 1Password 7, double-clicking jumps to the document item, then one has to click again on the item to get a drop-down menu, then to open a pdf with preview, one has to follow "Open With" and then click on Preview.app. At that point, one is in the document item in 1Password and no longer in the login item where I would l like to be, so one has to back up to the login item. Clicking "back" takes one back to the listing of documents rather than the initial login item, so one has to start over and find again the initial login item.

Is there an easier way?

@amilton: Thanks for reaching out. I’m sorry for the confusion! That isn't a "1Password 7" thing, but rather how 1Password.com accounts work, since they don't use "attachments" at all, but Documents instead. These are intentionally separate items so that you can upload files of virtually any size (provided your account has enough storage space) without having to worry about them all being downloaded automatically any time you setup a new device. You can actually setup a link in the Document itself back to the other item (or any) if you want using Related Items at the bottom. But this is something we'd like to streamline in the future as well. Thanks for your feedback!

Thanks for response. Simple improvements would be: (1) when in the document, double click opens via default viewer, such as Preview for pdf, (2) spacebar does quick look, currently, need to click on drop down menu and then again on action to open or quicklook document, and (3) automatically make link back to item when document is added to an item.

Thanks sharing your thoughts! Since the Document usually needs to be downloaded first, that's a bit tricky. That's why the initial click downloads, and once it's available locally, in the middle of the inline preview (works for most QuickView-able things, like PDFs and images) you'll have a QuickLook button. I agree that bidirectional links would be helpful though, and we're evaluating some other things that can help too. Cheers! :)
