I have installed iPassword on my MAC Pro; however I am unable to "import" my backup

I have installed iPassword on my MAC Pro; however, I am unable to "import" my backup from my iPassword 6 that was previously installed! This is IMHO unacceptable! I am LOST without these passwords! I can imagine you did not test this before 7's release.
While in iPassowod 7 on my MAC Pro I select File/import from/ I then select my iPassword 6, I've kept up on the upgrades, upon finding my .1p4.zip backup file dated 5.9.2018 , I try and select it; however it is grayed out.
