Same Password, different strength?!

Hello,
I have two items in 1Pwd which use the same password. But one gives me a "Gut" (means good) for the strength but the other gives me a "Schrecklich" (means: disastrous ?). The same password, here good and there disastrous?
Also: as you can see on the jpgs: one item uses "Website" (English) for the title of the website, the other "Webseite" (German).
Greetings,
Claus

  • Hi @claus,

I hope you're having a great weekend so far. It's too hot here so I thought I'd answer a few questions here while I wait for things to cool down. 🙂

I'm guessing the "Gut" password was generated using our strong password generator, and the "Schrecklich" password was copy-and-pasted. When we generate a password we're able to calculate the exact entropy and strength of the resulting password. When something is pasted or typed manually, we're not able to create an exact entropy calculation.

Does that match how these passwords were created?
