how to re install 1P on new mbp when old hd has been lost

My macbook pro was damaged beyond repair. I have had 1P for years and had a license but am not a member. I have purchased a new MBP but do not seem able to locate where to receive my license key...

    The first thing to try is to download 1Password from our website: https://1password.com/downloads/, install and run. If your old data was on iCloud or Dropbox, you should be able to load your passwords.

    1Password has for a long time saved your 1Password license to your data file under Software Licenses, and can automatically find it and register -- with no work on your part.
