Just wanted to report that I'm using macOS 10.14 and I can't get 1Password to present the unlock with Touch ID dialog box.
Issue(s) observed:

  • When Touch ID unlocking is enabled, the "unlock with Touch ID" dialogue box does not appear
  • On Touch Bar, there is a grayed out fingerprint icon, but it is not selectable
  • This happened on 10.14 beta 1 and beta 2
  • This is happening on 1Password 7.0.5-beta 2
  • This happens on main app, 1Password Mini, and Safari extension.

Steps to troubleshoot/resolve, but issue persists:

  • Toggled Touch ID unlock on and off.
  • Deleted and reinstalled app
  • Restarted machine.
  • Deleted and re-enrolled Touch ID.

1Password Version: 7.0.5-BETA2
Extension Version: Not Provided
OS Version: 10.14 beta 2
Sync Type: 1password family

@mattajohnson - yep! Thanks for reporting; we're already aware Mojave beta 2 breaks Touch ID in 1Password. You can check out this post/thread for a little more information about it. We've filed a radar with Apple, but we don't have anything more to share at this point. Sorry for the inconvenience!
