Restore 1Password data from iCloud

I dropped my phone in water today, and it's not turning on. I'm probably going to get a new one, but I really, really want to recover my 1Password vault. I've synced my 1Password data with iCloud before. Does that mean I can access my vault (or get some way into it) via iCloud? All I have is my master password. I've also used the Safari extension on my MacBook Pro, but I deleted it a few months ago. I tried to reinstall the extension, but that needed things I didn't have, namely a secret key and a 1Password address. I also have a backup of my phone from a few months ago. What can I do to recover my vault?

1Password Version: 7.0.6
Extension Version: Not Provided
OS Version: iOS 11.4
Sync Type: iCloud

  • @nschmeller,

If you had the iOS version actively syncing with iCloud then you should be able to:

    • download 1Password from the App Store
    • on the setup screen choose iCloud
    • type in your master password to unlock
    • your iPhone should get repopulated with what was synced to iCloud.
