@dran: Thanks for getting in touch! Since you didn't include any details in your message, I don't want to assume anything.

Recently we've had people contacting us who have been using a very old version of 1Password and, in spite of many months of popup warnings from both 1Password itself and iOS, upgraded to iOS 11, where it can no longer work. Is this the situation you're in? If so, please follow the instructions there to migrate your data to the new app.

@dran: If you don't know the password to your Apple ID for iTunes, that's certainly a problem for you but it doesn't really affect 1Password.

Regarding the iTunes backup, the guide has you create a new one. Depending on your setup, you can do this without setting a password, or have it use your device passcode (which you'd have to know to be able to use the device anyway). If you had a backup from before when you could access your data in 1Password 3, that would be ideal. But if you don't know the password you used for that backup, that's okay because it isn't necessary to recover the data. Provided you didn't delete 1Password 3 and its data, a new backup will include it too.

You will, however, need to know your Master Password for the data in 1Password 3, as mentioned in the requirements. Without that, it will not be possible to decrypt the data, and only you could possibly know what it is. Let me know how it goes.
