I cannot sync my iphone and ipad to my imac

I am running 1password 6 on my imac.I have older versions on my iphone and ipad that I can only open with my old password. How can I sysnc them both to the standard of my imac. Do I need to download 1password 6 for them as well first?6.8.9OS 10.11.6

    Thanks for taking the time to write in. Could you please let us know what version of 1Password you are currently running on the iPhone and iPad?

    I managed to sort it out by deleting 1Password on both my iPhone and iPad and then downloading the latest version using my 1 Password account and it worked! Everything now seems to be working together.
