Multiple vaults with online sync?
Hey, finally checking out 1P after a lot of fuzz and buzz. It looks (and feels) great both on the computer, mobile and in browser! One confusion I need some help with, though: I'm currently in the 30-day trial for a regular ol'account and I'm trying to create multiple vaults that can synchronize online. I'm wondering if I need to step up my membership-game to get that functionality available to me?
While I'm at it, I'm trying to rename the vault you call "Personal" to something a little more... snazzy. Is renaming possible?
Thanks for your time!
1Password Version: 7.1.567
Extension Version: 4.7.1.4
OS Version: Windows 10 and iOS 11.4.3
Sync Type: ?? I thought it was through 1P

@MsgLosers: That's great to hear! Glad you're enjoying it. Thanks for checking it out! :chuffed:

Nope! You can create as many additional vaults as you want right in your account on the website:
Create and share vaults
They'll automatically show up on all of your authorized devices. And we'll be adding this functionality in the native apps in the future as well.

Renaming the default (P) vault is currently possible only in the latest version of 1Password for Mac and not supported anywhere else, but it's something we'll be adding to the others in the future as well.

Hey @brenty thank you so much for the replies :+1:
I created one via mobile and that seems to have worked. Is this a limitation within the Windows app? Is that what you mean by "native apps"? Thanks for clarifying.
Alright. I'll give it a go on the Mac for now then. Thanks a whole ton! :chuffed:

I totally forgot that we'd already added this in 1Password for iOS. I guess I don't often create new vaults! Indeed, the new Windows app doesn't yet have the ability to create vaults in an account, but we'll be adding that in a future update.

Sure thing! And we're here if you need us. :)

Do you mean I can't access my second vault on my Android app?
It seems like this should be quite a fundamental feature seeing as we are paying a monthly subscription and your company has been in existence for a number of years hasn't it?
Is there some big technical reason that this seemingly fundamental function isn't implemented on the Android app and could you give an indication when it will be?0 -
@Poita: I'm not sure we're on the same page here. As I mentioned earlier:
You can create as many additional vaults as you want right in your account on the website:
Create and share vaults
They'll automatically show up on all of your authorized devices.
If you're using a 1Password.com membership subscription, that will apply to you as well.
