Can't Open on MacAir

I had 1Password running on my MacBook and iPhone. MacBook died so I replaced it with a new MacAir. Downloaded 1Password but it won't open, asks for a QR code or information from a Vault. 1Password is still working fine on my phone. What the heck is with the laptop version?

    What version of 1Password are you licensed for? Is that the version that you downloaded?

    v5.3 (4+). I managed to fiddle around and get it past the signin page to download from the cloud. Thanks for responding to the inquiry.
