I try to load the update of July, 2, 2018, but it doesn't work. Using firefox as browser.

I always get the information '1password' may not be open during installation. Then I click the continue button to continue. but it doesn't and I am not able to install the update. What's wrong?

@Dbischof: Just to clarify, you've posted in the iOS category of the forum, but you seem to be referencing the Mac version of 1Password. Is that where you're having trouble? If so, what happens when you try to continue the installation? Are you receiving an error message?

... on and on. Sorry, only in German, it says that I have to click the continue button.

@Dbischof: Yep, that's what I get with App Store apps that are running when I try to update too. The App Store should close it when you click continue, but if it doesn't you can always quit 1Password yourself using Command Option Control Q. I hope this helps. Be sure to let me know if you have any other questions! :)

the problem is that 1password is already closed - but the message above continues to appear.

Did you use the Command Option Control Q keyboard shortcut to close 1Password? If not please try that.
