    @Michael Shingledecker: I've had some other issues with Slide Over, but that's a new one for me. If you close it and reopen it, does it work then?

    Yes, meaning I have to completely quit the application and relaunch.

    @Michael Shingledecker: Wait, does it happen every time you try to use Slide Over? How about other apps? What happens if you launch 1Password itself, full screen? Restarting the device might help. I've just never heard of this before.

    It doesn't happen every time and can happen with any app. If I try to launch 1Password in full screen after this happens, the behavior doesn't change. I have to quit the app to fix it.

    Hmm. I wonder if the OS is just running out of memory while (yet) another app is trying to load. I feel like I run into this more when I'm switching between a few, but I may just notice it more at that time. I'm glad that quitting helps in the mean time though. What model iPad are you using? My iPad mini 4 is not exactly state of the art, so the memory constraints there may mean I experience this more than others.

    So it looks like it happens when I partially slide over the app. I release my finger and it slides back. When I slide it over again that’s when it behaves in the way I previously described.

    @Michael Shingledecker

    I’m not sure how you’re able to do the “partial” slide over that you’re describing... I haven’t been able to get the app to “slide back.” Would you be able to record a video of this happening (with nothing sensitive on the screen)?

    How to record the screen on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

    If that doesn’t seem possible could you please try to describe in more detail (i.e. step by step) what you’re doing to reproduce this issue?

    Please let us know.

    To turn the page of the newspaper I swipe from the right. Sometimes I swipe too close to the edge and 1P starts to slide over. My thumb is still on the screen so I slide it back. Then the next time I slide it over the odd behavior occurs.

    I took a video but can't figure out how to attach it. I tried .mp4 and .mov formats but neither will attach. Neither file format is allowed per the website.

  • @Michael Shingledecker If you can’t attach it here you can email it to us at support+forum@1password.com. When you send the email you’ll get an automatic response back from BitBot with a support ID. Please post that ID here.

    Thanks!

    Thanks for the recording @Michael Shingledecker. I can see what happens... but I’m not able to get it to happen on my own device. We’ll keep our eyes and ears out for this and hopefully we’ll be able to reproduce it at some point so we can track down what is happening here.

    You should be able to resolve the issue by force quitting 1Password from the iOS multitasking interface:
