Difference in TouchID between iPad and iPhone after Reboot
I don't believe I've seen this reported before. I hesitate to bring it up, because I rather like the version on my iPad. Is this what you folks intend?
When I restart my iOS devices, there is a difference in how TouchID works afterwards. The documents say that the Master Password is required after a restart. This is true for my iPhone, as can be seen on this screen capture:
But if I restart my iPad, a new icon appears that isn't seen on the iPhone. It has a fingerprint on it and if I tap that, I can use TouchID to open 1Password, without needing to use my Master Password. Like this:
1Password Version: 7.06
Extension Version: Not Provided
OS Version: iOS 11.4
Sync Type: Not Provided

Hi @hawkmoth
This is configurable. You can adjust the setting in 1Password > Settings > Advanced > Security > Require Master Password. We changedd the default here a while back, so I imagine you’re seeing the difference based on install date (I’d guess the iPad is a more recent installation than the iPhone).
I hope that helps!

Thanks! I didn't know about that option, and you are correct that the selection was different between my two devices.
