Favorites - Unable to sort listing
I don’t like that you are unable to sort, basically alphabetize, the entries on the Favorites tab. In the past the ability to sort them had been removed, but at least the listing could be manipulated by using the Mac and/or PC versions which would be carried over to the iOS version. That functionality hasn’t worked in the past two iOS 7.1 beta versions.

I’m on the latest versions on all three platforms mentioned. I forgot to mention that before.

Thanks for the feedback. We are evaluating how we can best address this for the future. I don’t have any concrete plans to share at this time, but we are doing some brainstorming here.

Still nothing?? This drives me crazy; my faves are correctly sorted on computers, but iOS is getting no love? What's the hold up??
Seriously, why in the world did you remove the ability for the iOS version to inherit the sort order of what shows on the computer?
Sorry to sound cranky, but I can't see any reason why this shouldn't be fairly easy to fix. Think of all the place in iOS where you hit edit, and get the option to drag items up or down by the little three-horizontal-icon. Of course, I'm not a programmer, so I have no idea what your obstacles might be...

@jiclark: Sort ordering was broken for many users/scenarios, so we removed it last year to rework it in a way that works across platforms and scales for people with a lot of data. It's much easier to say something is "fairly easy to fix" than it is to design, develop, and test actual solutions. The old sorting feature was a testament to that. I'm sorry that we don't have a good sorting solution right now, but search is great and we'll continue to work to come up with something that works better for more people. Thanks for your passion for this! :)

I also would like the feature. I just started using this, and I'm using Windows 10. I would like to sort the categories as well so Logins are at the top. I use the standalone Chrome extension. Thanks.

Thanks for the continued feedback on this folks. I too would like to see this happen. Just gotta find the hours in the day and agree on how it should be implemented. :)

I understand that you have challenges in making this happen, and respect that. My question is, do you really have to find something that works across all platforms at the same time? I can imagine that just might not be possible! Why not just figure out one thing at a time? I'm not even saying you should do Favorites in iOS first, just pick one and get 'er done, maybe the easiest first?
Keep up the good work, and you'll figure it out, I'm sure...

@jiclark: Yes. A much more common criticism of 1Password (from us as well as customers) is that it is not as consistent as it should be across platforms. We'd prefer to move forward rather than backward in that regard. :)

@jiclark, it certainly isn’t ideal, but you can get Favorites sorted in iOS by trying to rearrange them in the desktop app (at least in the Mac version – haven’t tried the others). When I say “trying to rearrange” them, I know they only display in alphabetical order, but if you drag them, they actually do end up moving in the iOS list. It takes some trial and error, as you kind of have to guess where you need to move an entry, but it works.
Another workaround I have found is to remove all your Favorites and then re-Favorite them in alphabetical order. That is really only feasible if you do not have many Favorites.

@verdi1987, that’s very helpful! I had thought about deleting and re-favoriting (how’s that for a word, even it is hyphenated!), and I only have about two dozen, but it seemed a pain, nonetheless. You’re experimental drag technique seems very much worth a go!

Interesting! That’s quite the bug. I’m actually kind of glad it exists though, until we’re able to get something sorted out for this (pun intended). Right now the unfavoriting and re-favoriting is the recommended workaround.
