I am current using Mac Mojave 10.14 Beta and see a recurring update available in the App Store, but when I try to download the update (Version 7.0.7), I receive this message: "'1Password 7' cannot be open during installation. Click Continue to quit "1Password 7" and begin the update. The application will open when the update is complete." I do as instructed, but nothing happens except the same popup recurs. I have even checked to make sure that 1Password was not running in the background and it doesn't appear to be.

  • Hi texasaggievet94,

When quitting 1Password, hold down Command-Option-Control, so that the Quit menu item becomes "Quit 1Password Completely". We are investigating the issue with the App Store. When it tries to quit 1Password, it does not do so completely, and the update fails.
