Problems after updating Sierra to High Sierra

Few days ago I updated my Mac from Sierra to High Sierra and start getting problems with 1Password 6.

  • 1Password Mini doesn't start automatically after login. I went to Preferences to uncheck and check the setting, restart but problem persist.
  • If I add 1Password in Login Items so it start automatically after login, the 1Password Mini will say "Trial expired". Same thing in the app. Warning will be gone if I restart the app & 1Password Mini.

I'm gonna clean reinstall Sierra (not High Sierra) and see if problems go away. I'm having too many problems after updating to High Sierra — the most notorious of all is the "iCloud can't connect to helper application". I think this one is causing problems for other apps.

  • Make sure to check you system for multiple separate installs of 1Password. It sounds like there might be a conflict with which version of 1Password mini is being launched. Check for extra copies on external drives, backups, etc...
