Having to Login Twice

Hi Support folks,

I’ve been seeing an interesting behavior with 1Password (both 6 and 7) for some time now and finally caught it in action. For some reason, many logins require using 1Password Mini twice. I'm using current Mac OS (High Sierra) and browser extension version 4.7.1.

The scenario looks something like this:

  1. Safari is open, and I open a new browser window.
  2. Use the keyboard shortcut to open 1Password Mini
  3. Search for a login and double-click to open/fill
  4. Safari goes to the specified site, you can see 1Password fill in the username and password and presumably clicks the “Log In” button.
  5. The page reloads with empty username/login fields, requiring a second use of 1Password Mini.
  6. The second try with 1Password Mini is successful.
  7. I’ve seen this on multiple sites, including iCloud and other URLs.

    @Kirkvan - Yup! What you're observing sounds very much like this issue. Unfortunately, there aren't any real solutions to this for now other than what's in that post -- unless you want to use a different browser; only Safari has this issue. Hope that helps!
