Can't "enable" touch id

Late 2016 MacBook Pro. In attempting to enable 1password touch id, I click the enable button which sends me to a dialogue box asking for master p/w. Input correct master p/w, check marked the enable box which sends me back to the dialogue box asking for master p/w. Input master p/w, check off enable and it again asks for password. Endless loop. 1Password version 6.8.9. Tried rebooting, deleting touch id's and rescanning. What am I missing?

@togidogi: I'm sorry to hear that. Can you tell me which version of macOS you're running?

I have the same issue on MacBook Pro 15" '17 with Mac OS 10.13.3 and 1Password 6.8.9.

  • @batk0,

You've already added your fingerprints in System Preferences and then turned on Touch ID on the Security tab in 1Password's Preferences window?
