Chome Extenstion Problems

I just got a new Mac and bought a license for 1Password7 since I can't seem to carry 1Password6 over from my old computer. I'm having problems with the Chrome extension, which has a different interface from the old one:

  1. When I click the icon, nothing happens. I have to log into 1Password itself before the extension works.
  2. I'm not prompted to update my login in the event I change a password or username. The old extension prompted me to do this when I was logging into something and did so with a different username and/or password than what was previously stored for that URL.

Please help!

    In case it helps anyone else, both 1Password and the browser need to be in the system /Applications folder in order to communicate.
