1password7 family with dropbox/icloud

I would like to buy 1Password 7 with family subscription.
Can I use it with iCloud as a storage or 1 Password family works only with agile bits cloud?

    Hi @buggypac

    Many features of 1Password membership (such as sharing with your family) are only applicable / available if using vaults stored on 1Password.com, but if you’d rather you could use standalone vaults. What would be the motivation for doing so?

    Standalone vaults are what we call vaults that are not part of your membership / not stored on 1Password.com. Membership does include the ability to create and use such vaults, but generally unless there is really good reason to do so it isn’t recommended. So, you could do it, but before recommending that you do so I’d like to understand why you’d want to. As I mentioned there are a number of features that only work when your vaults are on 1Password.com.
