What is the best practice for changing 1Password's password on multiple macs and IOS devices?
I have multiple IOS devices and macs, all using 1Password either as a standalone app or browser extension, using a family membership. I changed the Master Password on one of my macs. This changed not only the master password for the family account, but also 1Password's application password on this same mac. On all other IOS and macs, the old password is required to start the app on that device, then it says there is a problem as the Master Password does not match. I change it to match to newly changed Master Password, but it does not change the application password on that secondary device. This same behavior happens on all subsequent devices. How do I properly change it on all devices?

When you have one or more standalone vaults in the 1Password apps the Master Password of the “Primary” vault is what unlocks that app. That Master Password is not synced. You can read more about this here:

On any devices where you are using only membership-based vaults 1Password will unlock using the Master Password of the first membership account that you add on that device. You can learn about changing your Master Password, in either case, here:

I hope that helps!
