Markdown missing

Hi everybody.
I read in some threads that the 1PW app for Mac supports markdown formatting. I’m on the latest version but my notes will show up in plain text. Not so on my iOS devices - there’s everything ok. Can you help me? Do I need to activate it somewhere? I can’t find any option...

@remo10 1Password 7 (but not any earlier version) supports markdown in secure notes (but not in other notes). See this AgileBits' page:

It’s working on iOS in all kind of notes.
Will the desktop apps support markdown in “other notes” in the near future?

It was at one stage supported in other notes in earlier releases of 1Password 7 but AgileBits said that was an error and not intended. At present it's not clear whether or not it will be supported other than in secure notes.

(I am merely a user here so I have no inside knowledge!)

Yes, please! I was happy to use markdown in all notes text fields and then it got limited to secure notes... looking forward to using it everywhere again.

@remo10 and @1P4Me - we do intend to be rolling out Markdown support to other fields in the future, though we've had to do some retooling of our Markdown implementation. Thanks for your patience. :)
