Master password
I have been able to sign in with print. Now since update does not give me the option. Don’t remember setting up a master password. Was there a default password or a hint of what it might be.

The master password is something chosen by you. If you don't have it, nothing can be done, and AgileBits cannot help you. Worst case is that you have to start again, but there are ways of trying to recall it.
While you can (and evidently did) set 1PW to open with a fingerprint most of the time, there are always occasions when the master password is needed; this can't be avoided.
I am concerned that you say you don't remember setting up a master password, as that may well mean that no-one can make useful suggestions of how to remember it.
Try putting in an arbitrary password three or four times. I'm not that familiar with iOS, but I think that would give you a hint, if you had ever made a hint.
Do you have any other devices (computers or phones) on which you use 1PW? That would help.
