1PW is not offering to save my credentials. Mac w/ 1PW extension OS10.13.6

I go to a site, sign in, 1Password7 with extension does not offer to safe this info in 1PW. the dialogue box does not show up. MAC S10.13.6. It's like the extension doesn't exist. or something isn't "seeing" me sign in. Safari offers to save my passwords to keychain...
