Unable to stop Chrome autofill

I have installed 1Password 7 but am unable to get Chrome to stop autofilling passwords. I have turned it off in the Chrome settings, but it won't stop. And, since I am updating many of my passwords, the suggested autofill is usually wrong.

@kdeemer - hmmmm, that's odd. Have you restarted Chrome and/or your Mac since you did this? If not, try that.

    Yes, I have done both.

@kdeemer - I'm so sorry, this one appears to have slipped below the radar. Are you still having trouble with Chrome not autofilling your passwords?

Do you mean 'auto-filling' or 'offering to fill' passwords. They are different features.

If you are referring to stopping Chrome from offering to fill old passwords:
Disabling 'Offer to Save Passwords' doesnt stop Chrome from 'offering to enter usernames and passwords'. It only stops it from collecting new credentials.
After migrating (export from Chrome Password Manager and Import into 1Password) you have to delete the entries from the Chrome Password Manager.
