Can I use Version 6 with a new family subscription without upgrading to version 7.

I have Version 7 on my MacBook Pro, and I want to set my wife up with our new Family subscription. She is running an older MacBook (late 2008) that will not run a version of MacOs after El Capitan. Version 7 requires Sierra. Can I install version 6 on her machine and still connect it to the Family Subscription to share passwords?

Thanks for your help.
Mike

    Hi @VillaMike

While that should be possible the usual caveat emptor about using legacy software applies, and I’d also mention that in the future changes to the 1Password.com service are likely to make 1Password 6 incompatible so this would only be a temporary solution. It may hold you over long enough until you’re able to upgrade the machine, though.
