1Password extension doesn't open when share icon is tapped

My iPad is on 11.4.1 IOS, but lately, when I am on a web site in Safari and want to log in, I get a 1Password logo after touching Share, but it doesn't open or ask me for a passcode. I am reduced to using the 1password app to display my username and password.

OS Version: IOS 11.4.1

@bobgoldstein1passwrd: If you're seeing a "key" icon, that isn't 1Password; that's Apple's Keychain. Is that what you mean?
