Can't upgrade to "7" on second machine
Went to site to log in & download 1Password7 onto second machine (have family plan) but won't accept info. I'm taking info directly from the "1Password Emergency Kit". I even scanned the QR code, which it accepted but I keep getting error messages.
1Password Version: 7
Extension Version: 7.1.1
OS Version: OSX 10.12.6
Sync Type: iCloud

It is telling me my email, key or master password are incorrect. However, I can log into 7 on my other computer by typing the username and password. I have triple checked the key and retyped twice.

Are you able to sign in at https://my.1password.com/ using the information on your Emergency Kit? If not it is likely that you’ve changed your Secret Key since that copy of the Emergency Kit was created. Either that or you have a “Primary” vault on the first computer. Could you please check if that is the case?
Please let me know.

I have both vaults on the primary machine: sjh0006 - personal and a primary.
I just double clicked on your feed and entered account key. Email and Password already entered. Here's what I received: "
Cannot sign in. Your email address, Secret Key, or Master Password is incorrect.
1Password.com"I tried both passwords for personal and primary. neither worked.

When you have a Primary vault on a device 1Password on that device unlocks using the Master Password of that Primary vault, rather than the Master Password associated with your 1Password account. To log in to https://my.1Password.com/ or the 1Password 7 app on a new computer where you are trying to add your account you’d need to enter your 1Password account Master Password.
If you look in your Personal vault do you see a Login item for 1Password.com? If so it may have the correct Master Password recorded on it.
We do not recommend keeping the Primary vault after you’ve migrated to a 1Password account. Part of the migration procedure (the last instruction) is to delete the Primary vault. Do you have items in the Primary vault that have not been migrated to the Personal vault? If not I’d recommend deleting the Primary vault once you’re able to log in to your 1Password account.

I've somehow double synced and have 1200+ logins where I should only have 400+. Need to go through and update/transfer/delete and keep 1password only.
Checked my login info. I have data for 1password 3, 4, 5, and 6. No 7 (of course). Apparently, from what I can tell, the key is associated with version 6 or at least is shows under 6 data.
But the Emergency Kit lists a created date of January 28th, 2017. But it lists "https://(my name)1password.com" as sign in address. So I assumed that is my 1Password7 current and active info. It logs me into Password 7, so I must have initially used it to activate 7.

Sorry, Been out off town. I am totally confused. All the above are still the same problems. I can double click 1Password 7 on my main Mac Pro computer, enter my password and have access to all the data in both "Personal" and iCloud "primary". I upgraded 6 to 7 on my MacBook, went to enter my user info, activation code and password and continue to get a error message. I'm taking info directly from emergency kit but still no access. How do I check/change my master password if I can't get into account? I tried to change password from "Preferences-Accounts" but I get a "Current Password is incorrect" message . How can it open 1Password 7 from my desktop app if it's not the master password?

@sjh0006 - thanks for the additional information. There is no such thing as an "activation code" in 1Password, either in the native apps or on 1password.com. Are you referring to the Secret Key?
I can double click 1Password 7 on my main Mac Pro computer, enter my password and have access to all the data in both "Personal" and iCloud "primary".
The reason you can use the Master Password you're familiar with here is because the Primary vault still exists. When you use 1Password for Mac, the Master Password is based either off the vault password for your Primary (standalone) vault OR your 1password.com account's Master Password. When you created your 1password.com membership, it sounds from your description as if you created a new Master Password that was different from the Master Password you had previously been using with your standalone (synced via iCloud) setup. Is that the case? If so, you'll need to use that newer Master Password you created for your 1password.com account. What I'd like you to do is visit your 1password.com account in a browser - if it's an individual account, it will be at https://my.1password.com, and if you signed up for a 1Password Families account, the sign-in url will be whatever you chose as the name: https://(your-chosen-name).1password.com. Try remembering what Master Password you may have used for your 1password.com membership. Let us know how that works.

Went to "mypassword.com" entered my email, account key, master password as written down. Here's the message I got (and keep) getting: "Cannot sign in. Your email address, Secret Key, or Master Password is incorrect."
I then entered: https://sjh0006.1password.com/signin [enter]
and entered the same Emergency Kit information and received the same message. When I completed the 1Password7 registry and printed out the Emergency Kit, I wrote down the Master Password on the sheet.
The only thing I can think that I did is mistype my intended Master Password. So, in fact, what I have written down as the Master Password is mistakenly not what I typed.0 -
@sjh0006 - thanks for the clarification. I'm sorry to hear you're not able to access your 1password.com account. At this point, you need to be very careful, since if you cannot sign in on any new device, you won't be able to access the data you have in your 1password.com account. The good news here is that, if you've already added the account into one or more of your 1Password applications (Mac, iOS, etc), we can transfer the data out of there and into a local vault, then delete the 1password.com account, and finally you can create a new 1password.com account with the same URL, and transfer your data back into that -- make sure you remember your Master Password this time! :)
Before we go any further, however, I'd like to ask you to create some diagnostics reports, one from each of your devices.
