Protonmail mailbox encryption password is not handled. Can that be added in?

I set up Protonmail to require a 'mailbox password', which along with 2-factor-authentication (handled correctly by 1password), this is a third question asked after 2-factor-authentication to provide a 'mailbox password'. This feature is something that can be turned on within Protonmail so that the mailbox is encrypted further. A solution of copying that key into the clipboard to paste in once I reach that screen, or noticing that I have that new thing to fill in and just plopping the right value in there, should work to solve this.

  • Hi @jakehurst,

I have a test account for Protonmail and I find the easiest way to use 1Password with them is to have two Login items, one for each stage. When you have two Login items for the same site 1Password will always prompt when you use ⌘\ so you will always be able to select the correct one for the correct stage.
