My Father - delated his application - reinstalled - but can't find the file

So, my father delated his 1password application. He reinstalled it - but does not know where or how to link to the data file that contains his passwords - how do we (I) fix this?

    @Jay Stallard - sorry for the trouble/confusion! Probably the best way to go about this would be to have your data contact us directly, if that's possible. I'd like to ask you (or your dad) to create a diagnostics report from his Mac:

    Sending Diagnostics Reports (Mac)

    Attach the diagnostics to an email message addressed to support+forum@agilebits.com.

    With your email please include:
