Set “auto fill” setting here? or here?

I understand the auto fill setting is under the iPhone ‘s Settings app, but what is the setting in 1P for? Under 1P>settings>advanced>security>“Password autofill” ?

    @johnnywoz,

    That setting will make it so that all attempts to use AutoFill (including tapping entries in the QuickType bar) will present the 1Password lock screen in order to fill.

    Thanks for the quick reply. Sooo does that mean if not set, auto fill will fill in ID/PW without 1P authentication? Sorry but still confused on the purpose/use of this option in 1P.

    By default your device (if it supports Touch/Face ID) will prompt you before it fills. If you'd rather disable this system default and always show the 1Password lock screen you can enable this Advanced > Security setting.
