Removing folders in iOS after migrating to 1Password 7 on PC

I upgraded from 1Password 4 (agilekeychain) to 1Password 7 (opvault) on Windows 10 which means folders are gone and the hierarchy is managed via tags. However on iOS 1Password 7 I still see a folder structure in addition to the tag structure.

On the basis the folders are now obsolete and any new entries I add via my PC will not be in a folder what is the safest way to remove the folders from iOS version of 1Password without losing any of the actual username/password entries?

thanks

The items in question should already be tagged with the hierarchical tags from the Windows transition, correct?

A future iOS version will do similar things with Folders, we just haven't gotten to that particular bit of functionality yet.

Yes the items are tagged with the hierarchical flags.
ok, had assumed iOS had transitioned, but understand need to wait.
Summary is: no issue, working as expected for now, however use the tags on iOS rather than the folders when looking for (new) entries

  • Yep. Thanks for understanding. :)
